Dr. (White) Renteria is a Board Certified Veterinary Dentist™. She graduated from Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1996 and earned her Diplomate status from the American Veterinary Dental College in 2009. She is the founder and proprietor of Pacific Northwest Veterinary Dentistry and Oral Surgery in Longview, WA, as well as Inland Northwest Veterinary Dentistry and Oral Surgery in Coeur d’Alene, ID. These establishments specialize in cutting-edge veterinary dentistry and oral surgery for dogs and cats, alongside offering teaching and consulting services.
Since 2010, Dr. (White) Renteria has played an integral role as Adjunct Faculty at Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Here, she spearheads a dental rotation for fourth-year veterinary students, affording them invaluable exposure to small animal veterinary dentistry.
Driven by her unwavering dedication to the welfare of both animals and their owners, Dr. (White) Renteria extends her expertise to Western Veterinary Partner practices, where she provides guidance and instruction in veterinary dentistry to fellow veterinarians.

Dr. Ginger Grellmann earned her Bachelor's degree in Animal Science from Michigan State University in 2011, followed by a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Oregon State University in 2017. Her professional interests include dentistry, advanced oral surgery (e.g., treatment of oral tumors and jaw fractures), pediatric development, pain management, and Fear Free® medicine. Driven by a passion to empower pet owners (whom she affectionately refers to as 'fur-parents') to enhance the longevity and quality of life for their beloved pets ('fur-kids'), she commits herself wholeheartedly to this mission.
Dentistry holds a special place in Dr. Grellmann's heart, and she realized that her true calling lay in the field of dentistry and maxillofacial surgery. During her tenure in general practice, she dedicated over 250 hours of continuing education training to dentistry, then in 2022 she started her residency in dentistry and oral surgery.
Outside of work, Dr. Grellmann enjoys spending time with her husband, two sons, two dogs, two cats, and her carnivorous plant collection. She and her family share a love for good food, gardening, and traveling.
Dr. GG's passion for veterinary dentistry and oral surgery extends to her remarkable skull collection. This collection began as a result of her dedicated study of anatomy, aiming to enhance her understanding of her patient's unique individual anatomy. Do not worry, no former patients are a part of her collection!

As External Operations and Compliance Manager, Catherine draws on 14 years of hands-on experience across virtually every non-veterinarian role in veterinary medicine. This broad background gives her unique insight into what makes a practice run smoothly and compassionately for pets and their families. She focuses on maintaining compliance, streamlining external operations, and fostering a supportive environment for our entire team. When she's not ensuring everything runs seamlessly at work, you'll find her enjoying quality time with her family—recharging with the same care she brings to our patients every day.
Gemma is a Certified and Licensed Veterinary Technician with a strong passion for patient advocacy and high-quality veterinary care. She has a special interest in anesthesia and behavior and is dedicated to creating a calm, supportive experience for both pets and their people while maintaining the human-animal bond. As Lead Technician, Gemma enjoys mentoring teammates, teaching cooperative animal care and Fear Free practices, and ensuring every patient receives thoughtful, individualized care. She believes strong collaboration within a team leads to better outcomes for patients and deeper trust with clients.
Gemma lives in Portland, Oregon with her family and a lively crew of animals—three cats, one dog, and a fish. Outside the clinic, she’s a devoted supporter of the Portland Thorns FC and enjoys supporting the nonprofit work of the team’s supporters group. She’s excited to join the Houndstooth team and looks forward to bringing nearly ten years of experience while continuing to grow alongside her colleagues.
